The unique scent of leaves, trees and rain fills the air in autumn season. In this painting space disappears as scent goes beyond of the finite canvas. The technique used is passionately expressive. The harmonious bands of red and browns with intermitted strips of yellow and swirls of gold follow a passionate diagonal rhythm; all meeting at a focal point of the square canvas as if the scent started from somewhere and suddenly overflows beyond the edges of the canvas. This work is influenced by the density and spontaneity of weather change during autumn.
